Christmas

Christmas is an annual holiday celebrated on December 25 that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ The date of commemoration is not known to be Jesus' actual birthday, and may have initially been chosen to correspond with either a historical Roman festival or the winter solstice. Christmas is central to the Christmas and holiday season, and in Christianity marks the beginning of the larger season of Christmastide, which lasts twelve days.
Although traditionally a Christian holiday, Christmas is widely celebrated by many non-Christians, and some of its popular celebratory customs have pre-Christian or secular themes and origins. Popular modern customs of the holiday include gift-giving, Christmas carols, an exchange of greeting cards, church celebrations, a special meal, and the display of various decorations; including Christmas trees, lights, and garlands, mistletoe, nativity scenes, and holly. In addition, Father Christmas is a popular mythological figure in many countries, associated with the bringing of gifts for children.
Because gift-giving and many other aspects of the Christmas festival involve heightened economic activity among both Christians and non-Christians, the holiday has become a significant event and a key sales period for retailers and businesses. The economic impact of Christmas is a factor that has grown steadily over the past few centuries in many regions of the world.

Paniki was made from bat. Paniki are mammals. Sometimes called “Flying rodents” or “Flying rats”. Bats are naturals animal. They eat fruit, nectar, pollen, insects, and blood. Bats divided in two, megabats and microbats. Megabats are bats that have big or large body. Microbats are bats that have small body. About 70 percent of bats are insectivores. Most of the rest are frugivores, with a few species being carnivorous. By emitting high-pitched sounds and listening to the echoes, also known as sonar, microbats locate prey and other nearby objects. Although the eyes of most microbat species are small and poorly developed, leading to poor visual acuity, it is incorrect to assume that they are nearly blind. Their senses of smell and hearing are excellent. The teeth of microbats resemble those of the insectivorans. They are very sharp in order to bite through the hardened armor of insects or the skin of fruit. The finger bones of bats are much more flexible than those of other mammals. Their long narrow are tongues can reach deep into the long cup shape of some flowers. The lungs of bats are typical mammalian lungs. Paniki was a traditional food in Manado.
